I created the recipe as written. Nice batter but the cookie was soft with crisp edges but not chewy which is what I wanted. My batter had a slight cakey texture. The taste was ok. but not what I was seeking for. If you are searching for a chewy, great tasting chocolate chip cookie this is not for you. I assume they taste the best with the semi-sweet chips.
